History Trace captures system history (events) in a file which can be viewed page by page or line by line. The History Trace File Viewer describes each event using an abbreviated format. This viewer can store up to 3.5 MB of data, and can be used by technicians to troubleshoot problems.

For a small and relatively inexpensive voice mail system the NVM-2e offers a large number of the most desirable features including Automatic Attendant so incoming calls can be answered automatically using two different Answer Schedule Tables. This allows customizing the answer depending upon user requirements - different times of day or incoming lines for two different departments.

The 2e includes the most popular voice mail features including Caller ID with Return Call. With this feature the voice mail user can return a call automatically after reviewing the voice mail message.
